The Time
by Kristina Privitera
Dear precious one,
We've shared just a few short weeks together
and i feel that we,ve grown to know each other.
I'm learning to trust you and you trust me,
but most of all i,m learning to trust our God.
If something were to happen within these few weeks,
we,re having trouble finding you, you see,
I'd thank the Lord for the time we had together.
You've brought so much peace and love into my life,
You've taught me patience and strength I didn't know I had.
You've brought your father and I to higher levels of respect and love and
founded a relationship between me and mom.
I will look forward to the future with you
and all that we will do.
And if our time ends now,
I'll always be thankful of the time we spent knowing each other.
We're honored to have come this far.
I love you,
mommy |
I wrote this early on in my pregnancy about 6 weeks and ended up going into preterm labor at 25 weeks and delivered a beautiful girl, Hannah Marie. She only survived an hour due to extreme prematurity. She was 1lb., 6 oz. and 12-3/4
inches. You may contact Kristina at yogiandbooboo399@msn.com.
