My Daughter
by Kristina Privitera

You, do I love
You, are the best of me
You, have made all things right
You, help me see God everywhere
You, do I see in me, in daddy, in all
You, are in my heart
You, have deepened my faith
You, bring me joy
You, are my angel
You, are in heaven
You, complete me
You, will always be my daughter, Hannah Marie.
I love you. mommy

I wrote this while I visited my daughters grave exactly one month after she died. After getting over the threatened miscarriage earlier, I thought all would be fine until February 14 when I went into preterm labor. Now I must find my way through this dark tunnel of lonliness so i picked up my pen and started writing. Then I wrote this and knew no matter how bad it would get, I would find comfort in knowing I am a mommy and will always be and I have an angel watching over me. That day I knew I was good-not great -but good. You may contact Kristina at yogiandbooboo399@msn.com.
