MaKenzie, Our Miracle
"Mommie"

February 2005

Not so long ago,
An Angel came to me.
She placed a miracle,
Inside of me you see.

She whispered into my heart,
“Love her always,
Keep her dear.
Make her safe,
And do not fear.”

Our miracle began to grow and live,
And she could feel all our love.
But all to soon her Daddy called,
>From her Home up above.

He thanked her for the smiles,
She had given to her daddy and I,
And told her it was time to come home.
It was time to teach her to fly.

Our little miracle said to me,
“Mommie, I have to go for now,
But everything will be okay!
I’ll be back for you two some day.

“Tell daddy not to worry,
It won’t be very long.
He can take me fishing,
And teach me your wedding song.”

“Please don’t be to sad.
It’s okay to shed some tears
But we will have forever soon,
And memories for many years!”

“I love you both very much.
Never forget what I say.
It won’t be very long,
And we can have my first birthday!”

“I have to go for now,
But I’ll remember forever.
I’ll think of you always,
And forget your love, Never!”

Most little girls,
Are made of sugar and spice,
But our lil’ one,
She’s made of miracles.
She gets to come twice.

Comments: Written by Mommie & MacKenzie, February 24, 2005. I truly feel that our daughter, MacKenzie Heather Wayman, gave me the words to write. They flowed from my hand before I even had time to think of them. Always remember that your Lil' Angel is with you each and every day. We loved them and protected them while they were in our care, no matter how short the time. And now it's their turn to watch over and love us. Until they come again...
