Heavenly Angels
April D. Parker
April 2001
Even though I wasn’t there
The pain you feel I still share
It’s a terrible thing to lose a child
Those little wonders that make our lives worth while
I know your pain will never go away
It may fade only to come back another day
But I am here, our friendship will never end
The pain in your heart I will help to mend
Some things in life are hard to handle
That’s why God gave Jesus as our forever burning candle
To make the things that are so hard to deal
Have a purpose, a meaning, like a rounded wheel
My love for you is very deep
And it pains my soul to see you weep,
Jesus is caring for our babies while we’re here
Remember that as I wipe away your tear…
Keep that thought near your heart
And know that it’s only a short while you’ll be apart
Your beautiful baby, you’ll see once again…
As I will mine in Heaven, my dear best friend
