The Words of Baby Gage
by Jennifer Conn
Mom, you fed me right you let me rest,
I know at times I was a pest,
I did it all for you mom so you would know that I was there,
I started slowing down to a nudge and roll,
I could feel gods hands just tugging at my soul,
I was getting very sick mom, although you didn't know,
I see it's now that time, time for me to go,
I never will forget you dad, the way you talked to me,
I love you mom and dad, it's time to say goodbye,
God has given me wings and set me free to fly.
