Angels Gone, Always Loved, Never Forgotten
by Monica Bordeaux-Grubb

I cry myself to sleep at night
Tears for you
My shining light

I lost your brother a year before
He came on Mother's Day
A son I knew I would adore
In my loving arms he lay

Christian came early
Just like you
My tiny little angel
There was nothing they could do

Letting go was hard
Grieving, lost in pain
I wanted a baby so badly
I couldn't wait to try again

Olivia, my angel
I wanted you so much
I felt your tiny movement
Soft as a butterfly's touch

The day you were born
Started like any other
But again left my dreams in pieces
Again a grieving mother

I watched your precious heart beat
In your tiny little chest
And when it finally stopped
I knew you'd gone to rest

My life is changed
My heart is broken
Friends try to comfort me
With kind words spoken

I feel so much
I can't explain
I try so hard
To hide my pain

At night I cry myself to sleep
I close my eyes
And finally weep

My tears are for my angels
I miss them so much now
I pray they know I love them
That they'll comfort me somehow

My faith is being tested
I look for signs that God is near
I pray that he will show me
I hope that he can hear
